Alright folks, here's the thing: I really need some money for college. So, if you've ever been interested in my work and thinking about maybe commissioning something (either from my existing jewelry or asking me to create something new), now is a really good time to do it. Aside from how it will benefit me, now's a good time to start getting Christmas commissions in. I'll be pretty busy in the days leading up to the holiday season, so it's good to give me plenty of time.

Most of my stuff can be found quickly and easily by going to my online store: comparativerarity.ecrater.com
But a quick pricing guide is as follows:
Elements of Harmony MLP-themed Swarovski crystal necklaces: $6
^ bracelets: $6
Matching sets (necklace + bracelet): $10
Mane 6's colors pendant set: $32
^ bracelet set: $30
Full set (mane 6 pendants and bracelets): $50
"simple" chain-link bracelets (not all pony colors available): $5

Now, I've also made a few necklaces out of blindbag ponies, and those can be found on ebay here: www.ebay.com/sch/comparativera…

More stuff will be available soon! I've made pendants for Princess Cadance and Queen Chrysalis but haven't gotten the chance to photograph and post them yet. Pictures will also be available soon of the slightly revised chain link bracelet style and the colors I can make them in. (Short list: Rainbow Dash, Twilight, Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Derpy, Spike)

And if you or someone you know is looking for pretty shinies but not necessarily MLP-themed ones, let me know anyway! Brainstorming to come up with new pieces is my favorite part of making jewelry. As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope everything's groovy where you are. :3
Some of my latest creations are necklaces made of MLP blindbag figurines: fav.me/d5djome

They're fun and cute, and the little girls who attend the local farmers' market where I sell my jewelry just love them. But I can't possibly leave my bronies out, so I've saved the more well known ponies (Mane6 and background) for sale to the internet. Due to the limited nature of buying blindbags (I know, I can use the codes to identify them, but it's still hard to get the popular ones at all, let alone in bulk) I've listed them on eBay.

I made them auction-based because, well, to be honest I could really use the money. My sister's getting married in October, and even though we're cutting as many costs as we can, we're still basically all scraping as much as we can to give her as nice a celebration as she deserves. (I'm making all her jewelry, naturally.) On top of that I'm starting at a new school so I can get my bachelor's degree in marketing, which is of course going to be more expensive than attending a community college as I have been. Basically, every little bit helps a lot right now. :)

Here are all the links to the auctions:

If there's any pony in particular you want one out of, be sure to let me know so I can do my best to keep an eye out for it. Also, if you already have a figurine you'd like to be a necklace (or maybe keychain) and want me to do it, message me and we can work out some details. I might also post a tutorial on how to make them (it's really easy!) in the near future.

As always, thanks for all the support, friends. I wish you all well. <3
Hey all, just letting you know that I'm donating a full set of Elements of Harmony pendents and bracelets as a prize for the Seeds of Kindness charity album, presented by Bronies For Good.

All the details can be found in the link, but the short version is that the proceeds go to fund a clinic in Uganda and a village for street children in Burundi. It's a really great cause!

I'm so happy to be a part of this, and I hope you'll try to be too!
Sorry to flood your watch lists, guys, but I realized I had a bunch of photos of things I hadn't yet uploaded. These are prettymuch all from before last Christmas.

I hope to have pics of the things I've been working on since then up soon, because my goodness I have a lot. I am nothing if not prolific.
Well, now I realize I am just the absolute WORST about updating this thing. I have lots going on, and not an incredibly large attention span, and as such I haven't been giving this account the attention I should.

But, I am aiming to change that.

You see, I've made an important decision about this summer. Instead of working at the same crappy job I've had for the past four years, which has gotten increasingly thankless, I'm going to try my hand at entrepreneurship. I'm sure you've noticed by now that my main art form is making jewelry, and that I have an online store and take commissions for such items. However, I haven't done a whole lot to promote this, since I have always considered it a side project. I want to change that, though. Instead of working, and since i'm not in school this semester or until the fall, I've decided to really step up my jewelry business and see if I can't use that as a means to make some money. I've made bunches of new items, which hopefully soon I will be uploading, and I have a few plans in mind for selling my wares out in the real world.

What I'd really like to say here, though, is that my commissions are wide open. If you're at all interested in owning some of my work, now (or the near future) is basically the best time to request something. Just send me a note or an email at comparativerarity@gmail.com.

And hey, even if you don't have a commission for me, well-wishes and moral support are always appreciated, too. :D
If you'd like to place an order for jewelry, you can now go to my official site!

I will still take commissions and email-based orders though, but for those leery of Paypal, you can now pay with a credit card. Also, this should hopefully make it much easier for me to keep track of orders!

I'm excited. ^_^
www.comparativerarity.com

I'm so excited, you guys. I just bought my domain, and am in the process of setting things up...

Basically, it's a page for my jewelry, with a store powered by eCrater.com. The store's not open yet, but if you check it out and have some tips for me, I'd be ever so grateful. I'm completely new to this! I have prettymuch no knowledge of web design, and I'm more or less just winging it.

Also, more jewelry designs soon, I promise!
Due to what seems like popular demand, and not to mention my total excitement about all of this, I decided I'm going to go ahead and start taking orders for these before my official Etsy store goes live.

So, here are the details!

Each pendant is approximately 25 x 30mm (see size comparison) and is available by itself or with a 16-inch (approx. 40mm) chain.

Each bracelet is about 7.25-inches long, but please let me know if that needs to be longer or shorter. Each has a toggle clasp, but if you'd prefer something different please let me know. The beaded part is on wire, so is flexible.

Pricing

Shipped in a 6x9 bubble mailer (starts from $0.88). Includes insurance ($1.80 on orders up to $50).
$3 to $4, depending on order size.
For more information on rates, see: USPS First-class mail prices and USPS Insurance prices

Send me an email at comparativerarity@gmail.com to set up your order or for additional details.

Pieces are made to order, so I can make small changes:
- Love the style of the Unicorns but want Fluttershy's colors? No problem! Choose your pendant style.
- Measure your wrist! Make sure the bracelet will have the fit that you want. (Same goes for necklace chain.)
- Want the colors of a different character or your OC pony? Can do! Just give me a little extra time to get the right colors.
- Think these are too girly to wear? I can hang the charm on a metal bookmark or a short chain to hang on your wall/window/rearview mirror or whatever! I'm open to suggestions.

Note: Before you pay and before I ship, I'll take a photo of your finished piece and send it to you, just to make sure it's just what you want. Your happiness is important to me!
So I'm hoping to very, very soon open an Etsy store! So if you're interested in my jewelry, keep an eye out.

Wish me luck!
I'm new here. I needed a place to upload all the pictures of the jewelry I've made over the years. I've been making jewelry since I don't know when, and what was once a simple hobby is now one of my favorite things to do.
